I purchased two World Market bar stools made in Thailand--which is stamped on the bottom of each stool. They broke in identical locations. They were defective--screws not long enough to go into stool leg and wood plug not large enough to meet screw. I was told that since they were purchased more than one year ago, no consideration.

I will need to get re-worked by a woodworker.

There is a difference of warranty for general use and there should be another plan for defective furniture.

Was told to return and pick up the stools. This is very poor customer service.

Had an Experience with Cost Plus World Market?
